I will be working with the Delmarva Big Band that will feature guest artist Bobby Shew in concert as well as with Mr. Shew in a combo during this concert.
Bobby is a Grammy nominated recording artist, trumpeter and educator, with an extensive discography who continues to tour internationally. His appearance will be a treat for all music lovers!

I was interviwed by "The Diamond Back", the University of Maryland's Independent Student newspaper about my work with the University's Jazz Band as well as about the late saxophonist Frank Wess.
On September 2013, the Baltimore Jazz Alliance's held it's second Jazz Composer's Showcase, I was interviewed by Oswald S Copeland about the presentation of my Original composition "Sepia".

|BaltimoreJazz.com wrote a review of my recent performance with pianist George Spika, "An evening of jazz with George Spicka"||The Baltimore Composers Forum is proud to announce its 20th Anniversary Alumni Concert on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at An die Musik, 409 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. There will be a pre-concert talk beginning at 7:00 p.m.
This recital will present music by two of our late members; Dawn Culbertson, a founder of our group, and Steve Mafkofski, a past president; as well as premiers from our current members. There will be a variety of groups and musicians playing, including: pianist Ruth Rose; Mezzo-Soprano Megan Ihnen accompanied by pianist Hillary Kruh; Sonora Ensemble (clarinet quartet and percussion); Pictures on Silence (harp and saxophone); and Cellist Adam Gonzalez and pianist Diana Greene.
For 20 years, the Baltimore Composers Forum has been an important part of the cultural scene in the Baltimore area. Over a thousand new works by area composers have been presented. The music at our concerts represent a wide variety of styles, from experiments in sounds to multi-media works to neoromantic compositions, and to jazz-influenced compositions.
